How does an eyebrow transplant work?
An eyebrow transplant can be a good solution for women and men without eyebrows or when a part is missed. There are several known causes for the lack of eyebrow growth, namely genetics and heredity, surgical scars or, for example, over-extraction. You do not have to miss your entire eyebrow for an eyebrow transplant, it can also provide a solution for a thin spot on the eyebrow.
Healthy hair follicles from the donor area are used for an eyebrow transplant. These hairs are moved to the area where the hair is desired. The hair follicles will produce new hairs, causing the bald spot to disappear.
An eyebrow transplant is performed under local anaesthetic. Because of the local anesthetic and because the transplant is performed by a professional team, an eyebrow transplant is not invasive for you as a patient. The eyebrow transplant takes between 2 and 3 hours. Depending on the amount of hair to be transplanted.

Eyebrow transplantation with DHI
The grafts (hair follicles) can be transplanted in various ways. Most providers give FUE as the best possible eyebrow transplantation solution, however, using the hair transplant technique Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) to achieve a better result.
DHI is a transplantation method that uses so-called Choi pens (implantation pens). With the help of this Choi pen, the grafts can be implanted directly in the scalp. No channels need to be created in advance. A major advantage here is that with DHI little or no bleeding occurs during implantation. The Choi pen also ensures that a high degree of control and safety is achieved. This allows the doctor to accurately determine the direction, angle and depth of the hairs. This benefits the result. All the above reasons ensure that we work exclusively with the DHI method.
Choose your new eyebrowen
The shape of your new eyebrows is determined in consultation with you. Of course, our doctor will share his expertise with you and make sure that the design is as natural as possible.
For the most natural look after an eyebrow transplant, several characteristics are taken into account. The first important feature is the implant angle, the hair is carefully positioned and should grow naturally flat on the skin surface. The DHI implanter guarantees complete safety and control over the direction, angle and depth of the implanted hair follicles. The other characteristic of eyebrows is that each hair follicle contains only one hair. Here, careful attention is paid to harvesting the hair from the donor area.
When will I see results?
During the first period after the eyebrow transplant, something unnatural will happen to you, your transplanted hair may fall out. It is important that you do not worry about this, because it is part of the process and has absolutely no influence on the end result. It doesn’t necessarily have to happen to you, but the chance is high. The hair loss, also called shock fall, starts approximately from day 15 after the treatment until the end of the second month.
In the third month after your eyebrow transplant, not much special happens. From the end of the third month, new hairs begin to grow. At the end of the seventh month after your transplant, you will see about 85 to 90% of the result. Then, in the eighth to the twelfth month, the hair continues to grow and new hairs may be added. After 12 to 14 months you will actually see your results, it was worth the wait!
However, it is important that you keep in mind that the above description is an example, not everyone is the same, so the entire process will not be the same for everyone. This is nothing to worry about, but if in doubt you can always contact us.

Is WOMEN’S HAIR TRANSPLANT A TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT SOLUTION?
A hair transplant offers you a permanent solution. The transplanted grafts come from your donor area, which are not genetically affected by hair loss. However, it is important that the direct cause of the hair loss is determined.
Are all women suitable for a hair transplant?
Unfortunately, not all women are suitable for a hair transplant. It is always very important to schedule a consultation with one of our hair specialists beforehand. There are, for example, Alopecia forms where a hair transplant cannot offer a solution.
What are the reasons for hair loss in women?
One of the main reasons for hair loss in women is androgenetic alopecia. The woman’s hair becomes thinner during this process. It is a hereditary condition that can be passed on from one of the parents. Other causes of hair loss can be, for example, the use of medication, changes in hormones, stress and a lack of vitamins.
MAY I GO TO THE HAIRDRESSER BEFORE THE TREATMENT?
It is important that you let your hair grow before having your hair transplant. It is important for the treating team that they have insight into your natural hairline and the direction of hair growth.
Can I FEEL PAIN DURING THE HAIR TRANSPLANT?
A dermo jet is used for the anaesthetic, this is a needleless anesthetic option. By using this anesthetic method, most people experience little or no pain. At most you will feel a little pressure on your head.
DO I SHAVE MY HAIR FOR A HAIR TRANSPLANT?
It is customary for men to shave your hair before undergoing a hair transplant, but this is not necessary. For example, you can also choose to have only a part of your donor area shaved. This is a pleasant choice for women and men with longer hair.

I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH MY PREVIOUS HAIR TRANSPLANT, CAN YOU ALSO PERFORM A CORRECTIVE HAIR TRANSPLANT?
